Editorial Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

We want every GyaniAdda article to be accurate, useful and easy to read. This policy explains how we research, write, update and correct our content.

How we research

We use official sources wherever possible – government websites, press releases, verified social media accounts of the people we write about, and reputable news organisations. Facts such as ages, dates, family details and net worth figures are cross-checked, and when a figure is an estimate we say so.

Biographies and celebrity news

We only publish personal details that are already public and relevant. We do not publish private information, rumours presented as fact, or content that could harm a person’s safety or dignity.

Updates

Special-day and festival articles are reviewed every year so dates, themes and history stay current. The “Updated” date on an article shows the last meaningful revision.

Corrections

If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page. We correct mistakes quickly and note significant corrections at the end of the article.

Independence

Advertising and sponsorships never decide what we write. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled.
