All Saints Day: History

Pope Boniface IV formally began celebrating All Saints Day on 13 May 609th in a ceremonial

But it was later dedicated as a church on 1 November 2021 in Rome. Since then it is celebrated annually on 1 November.

All Saints Day is also known as All Hallows Day or the Feast of All Saints and Hellomas Day.

On this day martyrs and saints are remembered in Christianity, whether known saints or unknown saints, all those saints who have attained heaven are remembered.
