History of World Statistics Day
First started by the United Nations Commission on 20 October 2010, For the first time a resolution was passed in the General Assembly regarding this day on 3 June but officially on 20 October it was declared as World Statistics Day.
United Nations National Statistical Commission(NSC) was established in 1947, Which is an organization of the United Nations Economic and Social Council and currently the chairman of this commission is Shigeru Kawasaki of Japan.
