History of CISF Foundation Day
CISF i.e. Central Industrial Security Force came into existence on 10 March 1969. Its objective is to provide integrated security cover to both public and private industrial undertakings. The Central Industrial Security Force is an armed force established under the Central Industrial Security Force Act, 1978. It has 12 reserve battalions and eight training institutes. Its current Director General is Rector General IPS Neena Singh.
