For PC

1. Visit the Official Website:
   • Go to the Hikvision official website or a trusted distributor’s site.
2. Navigate to the Download Section:
   • Look for a “Support” or “Download” section on the website.
3. Select SADP Tool:
   • Find the SADP Tool in the list of available software.
4. Download the Installer:
   • Click on the download link for the SADP Tool (usually a .exe file).
5. Install the Tool:
   • Once downloaded, open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the SADP Tool on your PC.
6. Run the Tool:
   • After installation, open the SADP Tool to start discovering devices on your network.

For Android

The SADP Tool is not officially available as an app on Android. However, you can use Hikvision’s mobile apps for device management.

1. Open Google Play Store:
   • On your Android device, open the Google Play Store.
2. Search for Hikvision Apps:
   • Type in “Hikvision” in the search bar. You might find apps like “Hik-Connect” or “iVMS-4500”.
3. Select and Download an App:
   • Choose the appropriate app and tap “Install”.
4. Open the App:
   • Once installed, open the app and follow the prompts to add your Hikvision devices.

Note

• For best results, connect your device to the same network as your Hikvision products.
• Ensure that your network settings allow for device discovery and that your firewall isn’t blocking the tool.
